Ryan regularly advises clients across a broad range of industries in the U.S., U.K., Europe, Asia, and many other international jurisdictions on complex antitrust matters including joint venture agreements, risk mitigation with respect to trade association activities, standard setting, data exchanges, and vertical issues, including resale price maintenance, price discrimination, and distribution issues. He has particular experience securing merger approvals for large transactions facing review in multiple international jurisdictions—in addition to his practice before the U.S. DOJ and FTC, Ryan has managed substantive merger review matters approved by the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority, the South African Competition Tribunal, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, and the Chinese State Administration for Market Regulation, among others.
